Our thoughts and prayers are with those who have been impacted by COVID-19. After several weeks of sheltering in, we are excited to resume with the “new normal.” As we prepare to open our doors on May 12th, we are making several changes to deliver dental care to you safely!
We have closely monitored CDC and ADA recommendations. To provide the safest environment, we are implementing the following:
1. Social distancing
We will adjust your appointment times to reduce contact and interaction with others
We ask all patients to attend their appointments alone. If family or transportation is needed, they should remain in their cars
Glass partitions have been installed in the office
Floor signs to reinforce safe behaviors
Chairs in the waiting room have been rearranged to be 6 feet from each other. Alternatively, you may also check in and wait in your car
2. Pre-appointment screening
All patients are asked to complete the screening questionnaire
Patients should take their temperatures before coming in. If your temperature is greater than 100 degrees, please call the office to reschedule your appointment and seek medical attention as needed
We have contactless thermometers to take temperatures at the office
3. Facial coverings
All patients and visitors are required to wear a face mask or covering while they are in the office
4. Hand hygiene station
We have removed all our magazines and installed a hand hygiene station
5. Air purification systems
We have installed air purification systems throughout the office to keep the air fresh and clean
6. Pre-treatment rinse
All patients will rinse with antibacterial mouthwash before treatment
We have stayed up to date with the current changes and will continue to monitor the situation. We look forward to seeing you again! We are happy to answer questions you may have about the steps we are making to keep you and every patient safe in our practice.
